Raya holiday + mid sem break

Everybody has gone back to their respective hometown for the holiday...except for some who are willing to stay back in campus for two weeks...

Plan for holiday?

-finish up the assignments and the powerpoint slide for fyp presentation

-going to Miri for raya with my aunty

-rest and eat as to replace the time lost due to busy schedule

Just a quick update

It's been a few weeks since my last post. Now we are getting busy with our Final Year Project a.k.a FYP. So this will take me a long time to update this blog since our FYP is more important. Till then... sayonara

Towards the end...

Today is 29th June 2010,Tuesday.

There's 3-4 days left before we finally finish with our industrial training.

For me this industrial training brings a lot of valuable experience. Especially for my final year project a.k.a FYP. Furthermore, from this training we build our teamwork and friendship which will last forever. I so gonna miss this experience.

6th week

Into the 6th week of LI a.k.a industrial training, a lot of new things learned through this training. Go through a lot of ups and downs together with my 2 fellow friends. Been attached to 1) urinalysis and haematoloy 2)microbiology 3)serology (now) and my final section will be in biochemistry section, starting next week. 2 more weeks to go before we end our industrial training.

First week of LI

First week of LI or Industrial Training in English means a lot to me and 2 of my coursemate, Jenny and Sheila.

First day of LI (10th May 2010), we arrive at the lab of Kuching Specialist Hospital around 7.40 a.m. Entering the lab seems like nobody was around. So we just sit on the chair in the waiting area of the lab. Around 8.00 a.m then the lab manager a.k.a our supervisor came out of his office. Then he asked us to follow him to his office. So he started off with some briefing on the rules and regulation of the lab. After that he handed over each of us one schedule that he had prepared for us. So I was attach to Urinalysis and Hematology section for 2 weeks, Jenny at Serology section and Sheila at Microbiology section. So we started off our day by doing what we suppose to do with some guidance from the MLTs e.g labelling sample and key-in patient info, process sample etc. At the same time we learned a lot through some information sharing from our supervisor and the MLTs. We also had some fun working together with some jokes around. For the rest of the week we do what we have been told to do.

So for the second week, I still not sure what we'll be facing, but just leave it to faith.

End of 2nd year

As I have finish my final exam last Wednesday, so this few days I just go around town surveying things. I also go back to UNIMAS to meet my FYP supervisor to discuss about my FYP.

Hmm... Next Monday I will start my industrial training or internship. So take these few days to relax and do whatever I want,including surfing the net till early in the wee hour...
